About Me

My name is Cheng Chi Wa. I am now studying Higher Diploma in AI and Smart Technology in Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. My strength is my ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Experience

08/2024 - 09-2024

I worked as an IT Architecture Technician before. My duties were writing a server setup guide and QA documentation for an AI Speech to Text model, configuring and testing the server multiple times, and assisting in testing the AI model during meetings with the head and customer service team.

What I Learned

Strong technical writing skills and hands-on experience in server configuration and testing.

Improved my collaboration skills with the head and customer service team.

Applying My Skills in Future Roles

In my future job, as I may meet similar scenarios, for example, setting up and testing servers for AI models, I believe I can effectively contribute to the team with my technical and collaborative skills.

Extra-curricular Activity

10/2020 - 07-2021

I joined the Student Union Committee as Chairman before. The activity was about organizing inter-class basketball competitions, securing discount coupons for students, and establishing a snack shop for student convenience.

What I Learned

From this experience, I learned organizational skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

In my future job, as I may meet similar scenarios, for example, organizing team-building activities or managing projects, I believe I can effectively lead and manage tasks to achieve successful outcomes.

Career Goal

I want to be an AI Specialist in the future because I find this job meaningful and fascinating as it involves solving complex technical problems and contributing to the development of innovative technologies. The field of AI is rapidly evolving and has a significant impact on various industries, including healthcare, finance, and transportation. Trends such as the rise of deep learning, natural language processing, and AI-driven automation are transforming how businesses operate and make decisions.

Pursuing Higher Education to Excel in AI

I plan to attend university to gain relevant work experience and continuously update my technical skills, particularly in the field of AI, to achieve this goal. I believe that my professional knowledge can help me master the job.
